أَبشِر أَبا الخَطّابِ مَجدُكَ دائِمٌ

أَبشِر أَبا الخَطّابِ مَجدُكَ دائِمٌ

وَجَليلُ قَدرِكَ باذِخُ الدَرَجاتِ

وَجَليلُ قَدرِكَ باذِخُ الدَرَجاتِ

Rejoice, Abu al-Khattab: your glory endures.

Receive good tidings, O Father of al-Khattab, your glory is everlasting,

And your noble standing reaches lofty heights.

And your noble rank is lofty and sublime,

وَالفَوزُ بَينَ يَدَيكَ أَوَّلُ طائِعٍ

وَالفَوزُ بَينَ يَدَيكَ أَوَّلُ طائِعٍ

وَلَكَ الإِلَهُ مُتابِعُ الحَسَناتِ

وَلَكَ الإِلَهُ مُتابِعُ الحَسَناتِ

And victory stands before you, the first to obey.

Success comes before you, O most obedient one,

And God grants you blessings in succession.

And God closely follows your good deeds,

فَاِشكُر يَزِدكَ سَعادَةً وَعِنايَةً

فَاِشكُر يَزِدكَ سَعادَةً وَعِنايَةً

وَيَقيكَ ما تَخشى مِنَ العَثَراتِ

وَيَقيكَ ما تَخشى مِنَ العَثَراتِ

So give thanks: He will grant you more happiness and care,

So give thanks, it will increase your good fortune and care,

And shield you from the stumbles you fear.

And protect you from what you fear of stumbling,

وَاِرجُ الهَنا بِجَديدِ عامٍ أَنَّهُ

وَاِرجُ الهَنا بِجَديدِ عامٍ أَنَّهُ

عامٌ بِما يَرجو جَنابَكَ آتي

عامٌ بِما يَرجو جَنابَكَ آتي

And hope for joy with the new year, for it is

And I hope that with the new year it brings,

a year bringing what your honored self hopes for.

It is a year with what your side hopes for, coming.
