1. يا جاكَ قُل قَد وَفى زَماني

    وَما وَفى مُسعِداً لِغَيري

    O Jack, say: my time has indeed kept faith.

  2. وَالصَفوُ قَد حَلَّ في مَكاني

    وَغَرَّدَ اليَومَ صَوتُ طَيري

    أَرخَت عُشَّ سالِماً بِخَيرِ
