لِعَزمِكَ أَمضِ اليَومَ دونَ تَرَدَّدٍ

وَبادِر وَحاذِر أَن تَقولَ إِلى غَدِ

Act on your resolve today without hesitation,

Dedicate today with determination to your resolve

And hasten, and beware of saying, “Until tomorrow.”

فَكَم قَد يَفوتُ المَرءِ خَيرَ واصِلِهِ

فَكَم قَد يَفوتُ المَرءِ خَيرَ واصِلِهِ

قَليلٌ مِنَ الإِهمالِ أَو مِن تَرَدُّدِ

قَليلٌ مِنَ الإِهمالِ أَو مِن تَرَدُّدِ

For how often a man misses the good coming his way

For how much good can a person miss from his pursuits

Through a little neglect or hesitation.
