A branch atop a crumbling mound of fine sand,

Went about with a cup like the gleam of a mirage,

And women bewitching in gaze and coquetry,

Slender of waist, heavy of haunch,

They draw on choice ramal rhythms,

And finely wrought light and heavy rhythms.

    They flow among people, inseparably,

Like wine mingling with clear water.

They call everyone who has forgotten love to passion,

They fell every fierce, valiant warrior,

    Between forbidden and lawful pleasure,

Nobler than the falls of heroes.
