تقاضَيْتُ وعدي وَلَمْ أَنْسَهُ

تقاضَيْتُ وعدي وَلَمْ أَنْسَهُ

فتفّاحَتي هذِهِ مَعْذِرَهْ

I sought fulfillment of the promise made to me, and did not forget it;

so this apple of mine is an apology.
