And indeed I gazed upon a bright, conspicuous one,

a young camel that mated with sleeping, mature she-camels in the thicket,

mounting their high-humped ones, swelling with pride

with his bellowing, filling souls and eyes.

We spent the night watching him, while he spent it enveloping us,

his hump swollen and sore, thrusting his beard forward.

The lean she-camels conceived by him on the seventh of seven,

and drank after being kept from water; so we drank our fill.
