The joint deed of Mustafa and Hasan

The chosen one and Al-Hasan together their deed

is a mirror of judgment, whose reflection is beautiful.

A mirror of good opinion, its seen one beautiful

كم قد أعدَّا للتجار رابحٌ

كم قد أعدَّا للتجار رابحٌ

خاناً وهذا بالغنا مليُّها

خاناً وهذا بالغنا مليُّها

How often the two have prepared for merchants a profitable

How much they prepared for the merchants profitable

inn—and this is their wealth-filled one.

A cheating partner, and this most skillful of it

باليمن فيها عقدا شراكة

باليمن فيها عقدا شراكة

لفتيةٍ مجموعها حظيُّها

لفتيةٍ مجموعها حظيُّها

With good fortune, they formed a partnership there

In it a partnership contract in Yemen

for young men whose whole company is favored by fortune.

For youths whose whole is its luckiest

كواكبٌ كلٌّ يروق المشتري

كواكبٌ كلٌّ يروق المشتري

فلا تسلني أيُّها دُريُّها

فلا تسلني أيُّها دُريُّها

Stars, each delighting the buyer (Jupiter);

Stars each pleasing the buyer

so do not ask me which is their radiant star.

So do not ask me, its most precious pearl

بعينه الرحمن قد رعاهمُ

بعينه الرحمن قد رعاهمُ

لله عينٌ آمنٌ مرعيُّها

لله عينٌ آمنٌ مرعيُّها

The All-Merciful has watched over them with His eye;

With the eye of the Merciful He has cared for them

God has an eye: safe is the one under its care.

To God an eye believing, its well-pastured one

أهلَّةٌ بورك باجتماعها

أهلَّةٌ بورك باجتماعها

ببرج سعدٍ زانه وضيُّها

ببرج سعدٍ زانه وضيُّها

Crescent moons, blessed in their gathering

New moon whose gathering was blessed

in a zodiacal house of good fortune, adorned by their radiant one.

In the constellation of luck it adorned and arranged

شراكةٌ جاء حميدُ فألِها

شراكةٌ جاء حميدُ فألِها

للربحِ أرّخ مصطفى غنيُّها

للربحِ أرّخ مصطفى غنيُّها

A partnership whose omen has proved auspicious;

A partnership which the Praiseworthy came and inspired it

for profit, record its date: "Mustafa is its wealthy one."

For profit the Chosen one dated its wealthiest
