Father of Al-Mustafa, you are the pride of the generous,
the bride of praise, led in with congratulations.
And the most honorable of those adorned with gems.

O Abu al-Mustafa, you are the pride of the noble,
You are the purest branch that grew
and the noblest to have cloaked himself in glory.
From the tree of glory, strong and towering.

This day, your good news made the face of time shine brightly,
and go at morning to joy begun anew.

I say to those who march slowly through life,
while their greatest had grown too weak to bear them.
Go gently in your pace, do not rush heedlessly.

I say to one who spends the night exhausting his riding camels:
Turn your hopes away from mortal men,
Take your time in travelling; do not journey recklessly.
For they were vilified when they were but drops.

Turn their necks away from the sons of time,
Hasten to the abode of the glorious one,
for they were base from the day they were drops of seed.

I found it most excellent, so I secluded myself.

he renews his intention there and remains in retreat.

And his people, successors of predecessors.
