بارَكَ اللَهُ في ظِلالِ الدُموعِ
We have read your Shadows and so found healing.
We have read your shadows and yearned,
May God bless the Shadows of Tears.
Blessed by God are the shadows of tears,

مُرسَلاتُ الدُموعِ داءَ الضُلوعِ
They taught us, amid sorrow, how healing is brought
They taught us in grief how to heal,
by outpoured tears to the ache within the ribs.
The messengers of tears, the illness of ribs,

And showed us a new eloquence
And showed us something new,

Not common before,

So to the writer of shadows, greetings,
from the sorrowful, the wretched, and the stricken.
From one who's sad, wretched, and fallen.
