يَحلو بِها الكِذبُ لِأَربابِها

كَأَنَّها أَوَّلُ إِبريلِ

كَأَنَّها أَوَّلُ إِبريلِ

In them, lying tastes sweet to their owners,

In them falsehood is sweet to their owners

As though they were the first of April.
