بِنا بَينَ أَطرافِ اليَحاميمِ والحِجرِ

بِنا بَينَ أَطرافِ اليَحاميمِ والحِجرِ

I remembered you as the pale, swift-trotting camels surged onward,

I remembered you, while the sleet stabbed

I remembered you while the white, trotting camels were striving,

Bearing us between the outskirts of al-Yahamim and al-Hijr.

Through us, between the edges of the tents and the stones

With us between the ranges of Al-Yahamim and Al-Hijr.
