The womb of Mary the Virgin bears a wonder:
Mary's womb, a wonder repository,
A ruler of three, each a wonder:
Arranging three, each a wonder,
الأرضthe earth والبحرand the sea والأفلاكand the celestial spheres قاطبةًall together
لذاكfor that reason تعنوthey bow لهto him رقّاًin servitude وترتهبand tremble in awe
The earth, the sea, and the celestial spheres, all together.
The earth, sea, and planets entirety,
Thus they bow to him in servitude and tremble in awe.
For that, they submit to Him humbly and fervently hope.
لكنbut تدبيرهhis governance العلياءthe heights متصلٌcontinuous
منهfrom him إليهto him بهthrough him عنهfrom him لهfor him يجبmust be
Yet his governance of the heights is unbroken:
Yet His most high arrangement connected,
From him, to him, through him, from him, and for him it must be.
From Him to Him, with Him about Him, duty binds.

So the sun serves him, and the full moon fears him.
Thus the sun serves Him and the moon fears Him,
And in governing these two—land and sea—he is a father.
While the land and sea are in the management of the Blessed Lord.

والعبدand the servant يلزمobserves عندin the presence of السيدthe master الأدبproper conduct
Heaven bows to him, and the earth, humbled.
The sky submits to Him and the earth bows low,
And the servant observes decorum in the master's presence.
And the servant keeps proper etiquette before his Master.

And indeed a purified maiden's womb has held him,
He who encompassed everything was ensconced in a purified daughter
When he poured upon her blessings that flowed forth.
When graces overflowed upon her pouring forth.

Blessed is a mother who wisdom deemed worthy

Containing Him from her a confinement He came to filled,
Within it, while the worlds are drawn along in his palm.
While in His grasp are the cosmos pouring.

Your glad tidings, Mary, have come wondrously,
Glad tidings to you Mary, you came in wonder,
From heaven; to the Virgin they belong.
From heaven to the maiden tracing lineage.

Fruitfulness from the Spirit—the Holy Spirit—has settled within her.
Fertile from the Spirit, the Spirit of Holiness alighted upon her,
God has a wondrous dwelling among humankind.
For God a repository among creation a wonder.
