مَلْكٌ عظيمٌ له في الكون مقدارُ
He comes at last amid reverence and honor,
a mighty king, of high standing in the universe.
بكرthe firstborn الخلائقcreation والأعصارand the ages يولدis born منfrom
بكر الخلائق والأعصار يولد من
بكرٍa virgin لهاshe has فيin سماءheaven العزglory أنوارُlights
بكرٍ لها في سماء العز أنوارُ
The firstborn of creation and the ages is born of
a virgin whose lights are in the heaven of glory.

He comes to his splendid city, mounted on the
she-ass; yet this text holds mysteries.
ذوpossessing قوةٍpower تقهرsubdues الأعداءthe enemies سطوتهاits might
ذو قوةٍ تقهر الأعداء سطوتها
ويُنقذُand he saves الضالthe lost one والشيطانand Satan يحتارis bewildered
ويُنقذُ الضال والشيطان يحتار
He has power whose might subdues enemies,
and he saves the lost, while Satan is bewildered.
