قد ساد إبرهيم في إيمانه

من ثَمْرةٍ قد أينعت بِعَقارَهْ

Abraham excelled in his faith,

Ibrahim excelled in his faith

through a fruit that had ripened in barrenness.

From a fruit that ripened in its roots

لكنَّ مريم فاقهُ إيمانُها

لكنَّ مريم فاقهُ إيمانُها

من ثَمْرةٍ قد أينعت ببكارَهْ

من ثَمْرةٍ قد أينعت ببكارَهْ

But Mary’s faith surpassed his,

But Maryam's faith surpassed his

through a fruit that had ripened in virginity.

From a fruit that ripened in its chastity
