I give my life and blood for Arabhood.

I am hers, and my advance rests on sacrifice.

My homeland called, and I answered that call.

And vengeance in my heart is Hell's furnace.

At your service, Mother—my life is the sacrifice.

Death for your sake is my joy—nay, my gain.

I will not yield, and death will not terrify me.

Indeed, I am the one who presses on, even if shot at.

I give my life and blood for Arabhood.

I am hers, and my advance rests on sacrifice.

O Egypt, my love for you is neither rashness nor folly.

Rather, it is faith that courses through my blood.

I inscribed a civilization in radiant light,

That flooded the ages like a torrent pouring forth.

O Egypt, my love for you is a heavenly melody.

The birds sing it when I sing.

You taught me that struggle is a creed.

I live by it on the day of dark conflict.

My soul is your ransom, and so is all my hand possesses.

So rule as you wish to rule.

I give my life and blood for Arabhood.

I am hers, and my advance rests on sacrifice.

You are the one who made the religion of love beautiful to me.

So I entered it willingly; I was not compelled.

May my Lord watch over you; never have I been captivated by an enchanter

Without knowing that he belongs to you.

Through you, flower of the world, I raised my head high,

To guard your glory from destructive arrogance.

My soul upon my palm, I offer it as ransom.

And if I die, my bones will be my ransom for you.
