Whenever you meet Ibrahim, you know his munificence
Whenever you meet Ibrahim, you recognize his virtues,
by the radiance upon his cheeks; his petitioner succeeds.
By the radiance upon his cheeks; his petitioner succeeds.

Both his hands rise above every summit
His two palms rise above every pinnacle
of glory; no harm of his ever draws near a friend.
Of glory; his harmful wiles do not touch a friend.

كَغَيثِ رَبيعٍ كَدَّرَ الغَيثَ وابِلُه
Rather, his generosity and favors fall upon them
Rather, the bounty and favors from him to them
like spring rain whose cloudburst churns the rainwater dark.
Are like spring rain whose downpour has muddied the rain.
