إِذا ما أَتَيتَ العَبدَ موسى فَقُل لَهُ

إِذا ما أَتَيتَ العَبدَ موسى فَقُل لَهُ

فَدَيتَ مِنَ الأَسواءِ موسى اِبنَ سالِمِ

فَدَيتَ مِنَ الأَسواءِ موسى اِبنَ سالِمِ

When you come to the slave Musa, say to him:

When you meet the slave Musa, then say to him,

You ransomed Musa son of Salim from misfortunes.

"I ransom you from evils, Musa ibn Salim,

عَفا بَعدَما أَدّى إِلى الحَيِّ نارَهُ

عَفا بَعدَما أَدّى إِلى الحَيِّ نارَهُ

وَأَنتَ بِوَجهٍ كاسِفِ البالِ نادِمِ

وَأَنتَ بِوَجهٍ كاسِفِ البالِ نادِمِ

He forgave after bringing his fire to the tribe,

He forgave after having set the living one on fire,

While you are remorseful, your face clouded with care.

While you are with a face downcast and regretful."
