And our pot's hearthstones were her husband's head
The pots of our fate had its head cut off
And his two uncles' heads, amid fallen hands and shins.
And its master blinded, fallen into the hands of destiny

Have you not seen that, at the sacred sites, people are guided
Don't you see we are guided through the pilgrimage sites
By us, and ours is the glory of one whose boasts are believed?
We and ours are the glory of the honored truth-teller
أَبيmy forefather مُضَرٌMudar مِنهُfrom him الرَسولُthe Messenger الَّذيwho هَدىguided
بِهِthrough him اللَهُGod مَنwhoever صَلّىprayed بِغَربٍin the west وَمَشرِقِand the east
My forefather is Mudar; from him came the Messenger, through whom
My father is Mudar, from him came the messenger who guided
God guided those who prayed in west and east.
Allah by him who prayed facing west and east
إِذاwhen خِندِفٌKhindif بِالأَبطَحَينِin the two Abtahs تَغَطرَفَتstrode proudly

When Khindif strides proudly in the two Abtahs
When Khindif brandished at Al-Abtah
Behind me, and Qays trails its robes at al-Musharriq,
Behind me, and Qais rallied facing the east
فَماthen no أَحَدٌanyone إِلّاexcept يَراناsees us أَمامَهُahead of him
وَأَربابَهُand his masters مَنfrom فَوقِهِabove him حينَwhen نَلتَقيwe meet
Then no one fails to see us ahead of him,
None faced us except to see us ahead
And as his masters above him when we meet.
And their masters above when we come together

And whoever meets our two seas when they lock horns—
He who faces our two seas when they clash
Khindif or Qays son of Aylan—will drown.
With Khindif or Qais ibn Ailan's son will drown

They are God's two mountains, whose summits
They are Allah's two mountains which He anchored
Stand with the soaring star in the highest sky.
With the stars in the highest rising heaven

We conquered, by God's leave, every city
By Allah's will we opened every city
In India, or any barred gate of the Romans.
From India or a gate of Rome though locked
