فريد العصر مولانا المفدى

بشير الأمن زينه الجمال

Peerless in this age, our lord for whom we would give our lives,

Bashir, herald of safety, whom beauty has adorned.

وجمعت المحامد فيه حتى

لنور شهابه سجد الهلال

And praiseworthy qualities were gathered in him, so much so that

The crescent moon prostrated itself before his meteor’s light.

ومذ أبدى محياه عذاراً

فنادى أرخوا ظهر الكمال

And when his face revealed hair along his cheek,

He called out: “Record the date: perfection has appeared!”
