You are this fragrance that comes

From the mouth of the valley with the morning breeze

أَنتِ كُلُّ الحُسنِ أَنتِ

نَظرَةُ اللَهِ إِلى القَلبِ البَري

You are all beauty, you are

God's gaze at the innocent heart

وَعُيونُ الكَوثَرِ

وَسَريرُ الأَعصرِ

And the eyes of paradise

And the throne of eras

وَجَلالُ الخُلدِ بادِ

يا بِلادي

And the majesty of eternal empire

My homeland

ينشُرُ المَجدُ عَلَيكِ

رايَةً مِن مَفرِقَيكِ

Glory spreads over you

A banner from your horizons

وَيُنادي يا بِلادي

عِبَقُ الإِلهامِ فيكِ

Calling my homeland

The scent of inspiration within you

ماليءٌ أَرضَكِ أَعرافَ السَماء

يَتَمَشذى في بَنيكِ

Fills your land, the nobles of the sky

Roaming in your children

فَهُمُ أَمسِ مُلوكٌ شُعَراء

وَرُعاةٌ أَنبِياء

Yesterday they were king poets

And shepherd prophets

وَأُباةٌ حُلَفاء

وَهُمُ اليَومَ مَعادي

And intimate allies

And today they are my enemies

يا بِلادي

قالَتِ الدُنيا جَبيني

My homeland

The world said my forehead

لَم يَكُن لَو لَم تَكوني

أَنتِ كَالفَجرِ فَتِيَّه

Would not have been if not for you

You are like the dawn, young

أَنتِ كَالشَمسِ غَنِيَّه

لَم يَهُن في راحَتَيكِ الذَهَبُ

You are like the sun, rich

Gold did not dishonor itself in your comfort

يَأخُذُ الشِعرُ رَوِيَّه

مِنك وَالحِكمَةَ فيكِ الأَدَبُ

Poetry takes its water from you

And wisdom, etiquette within you

طَهِّري اليَومَ دَمي

وَغَدا كوني فَمي

Purify my blood today

And tomorrow be my mouth

يَستَرِح فيكِ رَمادي

يا بِلادي

My ashes rest in you
