سُبْحَانَ مَنْ جَعَلَ الآدابَ في عُصَبٍ

سُبْحَانَ مَنْ جَعَلَ الآدابَ في عُصَبٍ

حَظّاً وَصَيّرَهَا غَيْظاً على عُصَبِ

حَظّاً وَصَيّرَهَا غَيْظاً على عُصَبِ

Glory to Him who made literary learning, among some groups,

Glory to Him who made manners a fortune

Good fortune, and made it a source of vexation for other groups.

And turned them to wrath against the fortuneless
