I had not imagined it was the Garden of Eternity

Until I saw the houris within it.

O you who defer debts, is it decreed by

Beauty that the rich should keep the poor waiting?

Keep safe in captivity a heart that longed

Out of passion to die a captive among you,

And your slain victim, yet never complaining of you.

Have you ever seen, before me, a grateful victim?
