إِنَّ بَني طَوقٍ لَأُعجوبَةٌ

تَحارُ في وَصفِهِمُ الفِكرَه

The sons of Tawoq are truly a wonder

Minds are confused in describing them

أَبوهُمُ أَسمَرُ في لَونِهِ

وَالقَومُ في أَلوانِهِم شُقرَه

Their father is dark in color

While they are blonde in their colors

أَظُنُّهُ حينَ أَتى أُمَّهُم

صَيَّرَ في نُطفَتِهِ مَغرَه

I believe when he came to their mother
