وَأَرى النَوالَ يَزينُهُ تَعجيلُهُ

وَأَرى النَوالَ يَزينُهُ تَعجيلُهُ

وَالمَطلُ آفَةُ نائِلِ الوَهّابِ

وَالمَطلُ آفَةُ نائِلِ الوَهّابِ

And I see that bounty is adorned by its prompt bestowal;

I see the bowl adorned by its hastening

And delay is the bane of the generous giver’s bounty.

And procrastination is the bane of the wish-granter
