سقى غيث الرضى المدرار لحداً

ثوى البحريُّ إبراهيم أرضه

ثوى البحريُّ إبراهيم أرضه

May the copious rain of divine favor water a grave,

The pouring rain watered the land

in whose soil Ibrahim al-Bahri rests.

The seafarer Ibrahim rested in his land

فتى نال الشهادة وهو برٌّ

فتى نال الشهادة وهو برٌّ

فاصبح في النعيم ينال فرضه

فاصبح في النعيم ينال فرضه

A young man who attained martyrdom while righteous,

A youth who attained martyrdom and was dutiful

so he came to receive his allotted share in bliss.

So he attained his reward in paradise

وفي الملكوت حاز لدى إله

وفي الملكوت حاز لدى إله

مع الأبرار أرخ خير روضه

مع الأبرار أرخ خير روضه

And in the heavenly kingdom, in God's presence, he gained,

And in the kingdom of God, he attained

among the righteous—record the date—his finest garden.
