God bless you—what a patron, by whom glory swears
For you is God a Lord through whom glory resides
that you are gallant, Qasim, a dispenser of noble deeds.
You who are magnanimous and generous

And God bless your palm, whose bounty overflows;
And to God is your rest through which generosity overflows
for those who come find rich rewards in kissing it.
So that for those arriving there are spoils in its kiss

You have brought excellence, beneath which excellence stands still;
You came with virtue below which virtue stands
and brought generosity, beneath which it has spent the night hovering.
And you came with generosity beyond which generosity wanders

As if in your palms are the clouds for we
always see clouds pouring forth from them.
See from them the pouring rain ever descending
