أتيت بدر النظم أبدي التهانيا

أتيت بدر النظم أبدي التهانيا

For what you have attained, O you who have risen high in praiseworthy deeds,

With what you have achieved, O you whose praises are sublime,

I have come with pearls of verse to offer congratulations.

You have come with full moons of verse, eternal congratulations,

لقد سلّ ظل اللَه للعدل صارماً

لقد سلّ ظل اللَه للعدل صارماً

بآرائه قد اصبح العدل ساميا

بآرائه قد اصبح العدل ساميا

Indeed, God’s shadow has drawn a keen sword for justice;

Indeed, in the name of God, the sword of justice has been unsheathed,

Through his counsels, justice has indeed become exalted.

Through your judgments, justice has become sublime,

ولما سموت المجد قال مؤرخٌ

ولما سموت المجد قال مؤرخٌ

وعدلية الأحكام صارم راقيا

وعدلية الأحكام صارم راقيا

And when you rose to glory, a chronicler declared:

And when glory was exalted, a chronicler said,

“And Ṣārim ascended to the tribunal of justice.”

The fairness of your rulings is strict and lofty.
