O you, the trustworthy, keen-witted, peerless one.

وزادك اللَه سروراً بهِ

تغتنم العيش الهنيءَ الرغيد

تغتنم العيش الهنيءَ الرغيد

And may God increase your joy in it,

May God increase your joy through it,

that you may savor a life of ease and delight.

That you may enjoy a pleasant, prosperous life.

وجعل الرحمن أفراحكم

وجعل الرحمن أفراحكم

ميمونةً في كل يومٍ تزيد

ميمونةً في كل يومٍ تزيد

And may the All-Merciful make your joys

And may the Merciful make your joys

auspicious, increasing with every day.

Blessed, increasing with every day.

مباركٌ هذا الزواج الذي

طالعهُ بالسعد أضحى مجيد

Blessed is this marriage, whose

ascendant, graced with good fortune, has become glorious.

Whose rising star has become glorious with good fortune.

وهبك الوهاب منه الهنا

وهبك الوهاب منه الهنا

وكل نجلٍ ذي ملاحٍ رشيد

وكل نجلٍ ذي ملاحٍ رشيد

May the Ever-Giving grant you happiness from it,

May the Bestower grant you happiness through it,

and every comely, right-minded son.

And every handsome, wise son.

وجادك الأمن وصافى الصفا

وجادك الأمن وصافى الصفا

ومدّك المولى بعمرٍ مديد

ومدّك المولى بعمرٍ مديد

May security deal bountifully with you, and serenity be your true companion,

May safety shower you with bounty, and serenity befriend you,

and may the Lord sustain you through a long life.

And may the Lord grant you a long life.
