أكابد اللَّيل في دَمْعٍ وفي أرقٍ

أكابد اللَّيل في دَمْعٍ وفي أرقٍ

وكلّ ذلك ألقاه بأجفاني

I struggle through the night in tears and sleeplessness,

And all of that I face with my eyelids.
