  1. كأن خديه ديناران قد وزنا

    فحرر الصيرفي الوزن واحتاطا

    His cheeks are like two dinars that have been weighed;

  2. فشح بعضهما عن وزن صاحبه

    فزاده من فتيت المسك قيراطاً

    Then one fell short of the weight of its companion,

    so he added to it a carat of powdered musk.
