  1. صاح هذي قباب طيبة لاحت

    وفؤادي على اللقاء حريص

    Friend, these domes of Taybah have come into view,

    and my heart is eager for the meeting.

  2. وتبدت نخيلها للمطايا

    فعيون المطي للنخل خوص

    Her date palms have appeared before the riding camels,

    so the camels’ eyes narrow toward the palms.
