تحار في وصفه العيون

And many a river has springs;

By the Lord of the river with springs,

the eyes are at a loss to describe it.

Eyes are bewildered in describing it.

لما غدا الريقُ منه عذباً

لما غدا الريقُ منه عذباً

مالت إلى رشفه الغصون

مالت إلى رشفه الغصون

When its saliva grew sweet,

When its drops became sweet,

the branches leaned to sip it.

The branches leaned towards sipping it.
