By the beauty of your face, O man,

Is there safety for the lovesick one in loving you?

Leave off your graceful bearing; you have bewitched all people with it.

And stop glancing about; the gazelles have become bewildered.

You have made peace between sleeplessness and my eye,

Since it was said that you were turning away in anger.
