Sol 6.1

  1. يا رب بلغْ سلامي

    لأحمدٍ ذي الشفاعهْ

    O Lord, convey my greeting of peace

    to Ahmad, possessor of intercession;

  2. لخاتم الرسل أعني

    إمامَ تلك الجماعة

    to the Seal of the messengers, I mean,

    the leader of that company;

  3. لأبهرِ الخلق مجداً

    يحكي الصباحَ نصاعه

    to the most dazzling of creation in glory,

    who resembles the morning in brightness;

  4. لمن صفاتُ علاه

    تعجيزُ أهل البراعةْ

    to him whose exalted qualities

    confound the masters of skill;

  5. لسيِّدٍ لسناه

    يزهى السنا والبراعهْ

    to a master in whose radiance

    light and excellence take pride;

  6. لمرشدٍ بهداه

    قد فاز عبد أطاعه

    to a guide through whose guidance

    a servant who obeyed him has indeed triumphed;

  7. شمسُ النبوة معط

    شمس السماء شعاعه

    the sun of prophethood, bestowing

    his rays upon the sun of heaven;

  8. وناظمُ الحسن نظماً

    قد ضم منه شعاعه

    and he who strings beauty into an order

    that has gathered its scattered parts;

  9. وسرِّ سرِّك يا من

    أرى العيونَ أطلاعه

    and to the secret of Your secret, O You who

    made eyes behold his rising;

  10. ومن حَبَا بذكاءِ

    ضلالَه وطباعه

    and You who endowed with intelligence

    his straying and his innate dispositions;

  11. ومدَّ في كل فضلٍ

    لصفوة الرسل باعه

    and extended, in every excellence,

    the reach of the choicest of messengers:

  12. فزده يا ربُّ فخراً

    وزد محبيه طاعه

    so increase him in glory, O Lord,

    and increase those who love him in obedience.
