أأباO Abū العلاءِal-ʿAlāʾ وأنتَand you منّيto me حُلّةٌa fine robe
أأبا العلاءِ وأنتَ منّي حُلّةٌ
بمثابةِin a position of الإيثارِspecial favor والتّكريمِand honor
بمثابةِ الإيثارِ والتّكريمِ
O Abu al-ʿAlāʾ, you are to me a robe,
O Abū al-ʿAlāʾ, you are to me a fine robe,
in the station of preference and honoring.
Held in special favor and honor.
