Sol 6.1

  1. سأصبر حتى ينجزَ الله وعده

    ولا بدّ للرحمن أنْ ينجزَ الوعدا

    I shall be patient until God fulfills His promise.

    And the All-Merciful must surely fulfill the promise.

  2. ألم يعدِ الله الكريمُ بفضله

    مع العسر يسراً ينجح السعي والقصدا

    Has not God, the Generous, promised through His grace

    Ease with hardship, bringing success to endeavor and purpose?

  3. ومازال لطف الله يفرج أزمةً

    إذا استصعبتً عقداً أواستحكمت شدا

    And God's kindness never ceases to relieve a crisis,

    When its knots grow intractable or its binding grows tight.

  4. فيامن له الألطاف تأتي خَفيَّة

    تدارك برحماها ومنتها العبدا

    So O You whose gracious favors come unseen,

    Rescue the servant with their mercy and bounty.

  5. فقد وثِقت نفسي بوعدك سيدي

    وقد علّقت منه الأذمة والعهدا

    For my soul has trusted in Your promise, my Master,

    And I have hung from it the pledges and the covenant.

  6. وحسنتُ صبري راضياً ومسلماً

    وإن كان منى الصبرُ قد بلغ الجهدا

    And I have practiced patience well, content and submitting,

    Though my patience has reached the point of exhaustion.

  7. ومالي مقال غيرُ حمدٍ مردّد

    على كل حالٍ فأقبل الشكرَ والحمدا

    And I have no words but repeated praise,

    In every circumstance; so accept thanks and praise.

  8. ولي رغبةٌ شفعت فيها محمداً

    نبي الهدى السامي بأفق العلا مجداً

    And I have a wish for which I have made Muhammad my intercessor,

    The Prophet of guidance, exalted in glory on the horizon of sublimity.

  9. فشفعه يا مولاي واخصص جنابه

    بأذكى سلامٍ ينضخُ المسكَ والنَّدا

    So accept his intercession, O my Lord, and single out his noble person

    With the most fragrant salutation, pouring forth musk and dew.

  10. وخر لي واختر لي فحسبي ما ترى

    من الأمرِ لي خيراً وتختاره رشداً

    And choose the best for me, and choose for me; enough for me is what You see

    As good for me in my affairs, and choose as the right course.
