عّلق رجاءك بالإله فإنه

عّلق رجاءك بالإله فإنه

ما خاب في فضل الإله رجاءُ

ما خاب في فضل الإله رجاءُ

Fasten your hope to God, for

Put your hope in God, for no

no hope in God's bounty has failed.

Hope in God's grace has gone astray,

والجأ إليه إذا عَرَتك ملمَّة

والجأ إليه إذا عَرَتك ملمَّة

يعصمك إيواء له ولجاء

يعصمك إيواء له ولجاء

And seek refuge in Him when a calamity befalls you;

And take refuge in Him when hardship finds you -

shelter in Him and recourse to Him will protect you.

His shelter and refuge will protect you.

واعلمْ بأنّ الخيرَ في يده فما

واعلمْ بأنّ الخيرَ في يده فما

شاءَ الكريمُ به إليك يُجاءُ

شاءَ الكريمُ به إليك يُجاءُ

And know that goodness is in His hand, so whatever

Know that all good is in His hand, so whatever

the Generous One wills is brought to you.

The Generous One wills for you shall come your way.
