اسمُه ظَلَّ في الفواكِهِ سائِرْ

اسمُه ظَلَّ في الفواكِهِ سائِرْ

Tell me the name of something delicious;

its name remains well known among fruits.

نصفُهُ طائرٌ وإن صحّفوا ما

نصفُهُ طائرٌ وإن صحّفوا ما

غادروا من حروفِهِ فهْوَ طائِرْ

غادروا من حروفِهِ فهْوَ طائِرْ

Half of it is a bird, and if they alter the dots of what

they have left of its letters, then it is a bird.
