فَلا يُسَرُّ بِمالٍ لا يَجودُ بِهِ

فَلا يُسَرُّ بِمالٍ لا يَجودُ بِهِ

وَلَيسَ يَقنَعُ إِلّا بِالَّذي يَهَبُ

وَلَيسَ يَقنَعُ إِلّا بِالَّذي يَهَبُ

So he takes no joy in wealth he does not give freely,

He takes no joy in wealth he does not give,

And he is content only with what he gives.

Nor will he rest content save with the gift he makes.
