فيكَin you لِلمَجدِfor nobility شيمَةٌa character trait قَدindeed كَفَتنيhas sufficed me

In you, nobility has a trait that has sufficed me,
In you lies glory's trait which has sufficed me
As my claimant upon you when we meet.
From you, when meeting with the demander
فَإِذاso when المَجدُnobility كانَis عَوناًan ally عَلىagainst المَرthe man (word continues)
ءِcompletes the word 'man' تَقاضَيتُهُI claimed my due from him بِتَركِby abandoning التَقاضيdemanding payment
So when nobility is an ally against a man,
So if glory is aid against distress

I demanded it by leaving the demand
