أَتوبُ إِلَيكَ مِنَ السَيِّئات

أَتوبُ إِلَيكَ مِنَ السَيِّئات

وَأَستَغفِرُ اللَهَ مِن فَعَلتي

وَأَستَغفِرُ اللَهَ مِن فَعَلتي

I repent to you of my sins,

I repent to You from misdeeds

and seek God's forgiveness for my misdeed.

And I seek Allah's forgiveness for my act

تَناوَلتُ ما لَم أُرِد نَيلَهُ

تَناوَلتُ ما لَم أُرِد نَيلَهُ

عَلى جَهلِ أَمري وَفي سَكرَتي

عَلى جَهلِ أَمري وَفي سَكرَتي

I took what I had not intended to obtain,

I took what I did not intend to obtain

not knowing what I was doing, and in my drunkenness.

Due to my ignorance and intoxication

وَوَاللَهِ وَاللَهِ ما جِئتُهُ

وَوَاللَهِ وَاللَهِ ما جِئتُهُ

لِعَمدٍ وَما كانَ مِن هِمَّتي

لِعَمدٍ وَما كانَ مِن هِمَّتي

And by God, by God, I did not do it

By Allah, by Allah I did not come to it

deliberately, nor was it my intent.

Intentionally, nor was it my determination

وَإِلّا فَمُتُّ إِذَن ضائِعاً

وَإِلّا فَمُتُّ إِذَن ضائِعاً

وَعَذَّبَني اللَهُ في ميتَتي

وَعَذَّبَني اللَهُ في ميتَتي

And if not, may I then die lost,

Else I would die wasted

and may God torment me at my death.

And Allah would torment me in my death

فَمَن نالَ خَيراً عَلى قُبلَةٍ

فَمَن نالَ خَيراً عَلى قُبلَةٍ

فَلا بارَكَ اللَهُ في قُبلَتي

فَلا بارَكَ اللَهُ في قُبلَتي

So if anyone has gained good from a kiss,

So whoever attained goodness from a kiss

then may God not bless my kiss.

May Allah not bless my kiss
