كَأَنَّ جُفوني كانَت العيسُ فَوقَها

كَأَنَّ جُفوني كانَت العيسُ فَوقَها

فَسارَت وَسالَت بَعدَهُنَّ المَدامِعُ

فَسارَت وَسالَت بَعدَهُنَّ المَدامِعُ

As though the white camels had been upon my eyelids,

As if my eyelids were a nest, and over it

Then they departed, and tears flowed after them.

The tears have flown and streamed after them
