لَيسَ الفَتَى بِجَمالِهِ وَكَمالِهِ

لَيسَ الفَتَى بِجَمالِهِ وَكَمالِهِ

إِنَّ الجَوادَ بِمالِهِ يُدعى الفَتى

إِنَّ الجَوادَ بِمالِهِ يُدعى الفَتى

A noble youth is not defined by his beauty and perfection;

A youth's worth lies not in beauty and perfection

Indeed, the generous man is called a noble youth by virtue of his wealth.

Rather, the generous one is called noble by his wealth
