Ah, would that I knew: shall I ever spend a night
Oh, would that I knew if you will spend a night
With my family beside me, encamped at al-Ma’zimayn?
While my family is with me at al-Muzdalifa
وَهَلand whether أَبصِرَنَّI shall indeed see العيسَthe pale camels تَنفُخُsnort فيthrough البُرىthe nose-rings

And shall I ever see the pale camels snorting through their nose-rings,
And would that I saw the ibex blowing in the slopes
Moving at an easy trot in Mina, bearing pilgrims in ihram?
It has among the sacred pilgrims a tryst
