إذا العبدُ أحيَى الله بالدِّينِ قَلْبَهُ

إذا العبدُ أحيَى الله بالدِّينِ قَلْبَهُ

وعَلَّمَهُ حُبَّ النَّبيِّ كَما يَرْضى

وعَلَّمَهُ حُبَّ النَّبيِّ كَما يَرْضى

When God brings a servant’s heart to life through religion,

When the servant enlivens his heart with religion

and teaches him love of the Prophet in a way that pleases Him,

And teaches it the love of the Prophet as He wills,

فَهِمَّتُهُ تَعْلو ومَعْناهُ يَنْجَلي

فَهِمَّتُهُ تَعْلو ومَعْناهُ يَنْجَلي

وأسرارُهُ تَسْمو وحاجاتُهُ تُقْضى

وأسرارُهُ تَسْمو وحاجاتُهُ تُقْضى

then his aspiration rises, and his inner meaning becomes clear,

His aspirations are exalted, his meaning made clear,

and his secrets soar, and his needs are fulfilled.

His inner secrets rise up high, his needs fulfilled.
