We read the meanings of the secret; thus the decree is manifest.

In it is dazzling splendor from the inward aspect of the state.

It taught that outward things, in keeping with their character,

are manifestations through the talisman of the decrees of the unseen.

So this one, by the unseen's prior allotment, is a believer,

and this one, as the eye may attest, is an unbeliever.

The revealer of outward manifestation laid bare every hidden thing,

and at times inward eyes are blind to the secrets.

Indeed, by their meanings and the mystery of their secret,

and by that which reveals affairs and conceals them:

we turned away from effects, and our innermost heart

flies toward the One, the Unique, the Cause.

And in Him we lost awareness of all things manifest and effaced,

and in Him we have a secret, present alongside sincerity.

We see the influxes of the cosmos coming from Him and issuing from Him, not

from anyone besides Him; the powerlessness of all in everything is manifest.

So His chosen one, the guide to His holy presence,

guided us, and passing thoughts have become nothing.

Through him we knew the manifest Truth, and indeed,

our comings and goings arise from his knowledge.

Indeed, he tore dense doubt apart with his resolve,

and curtains from his guidance were spread over us.

So every tongue utters pure guidance,

and every heart is filled with divine care.

The light of the Truth shone brilliantly in every believer,

and glad tidings arose upon certain knowledge.

For Him our hearts bore an ancient secret,

so far be it from that secret to decay on the day of innermost secrets.
