دعونا البطين المرتضى في ملمَّةٍ

دعونا البطين المرتضى في ملمَّةٍ

ليرفع بالجاه الوسيلةَ للباري

ليرفع بالجاه الوسيلةَ للباري

We called upon al-Baṭīn, al-Murtaḍā, in a calamity,

Let us invoke the chosen intercessor in hardship

that, through his standing, he might raise our plea to the Creator.

To raise the means to the Creator through his glory

فإِنَّ ابن عمِّ المصطفى ذو شفاعةٍ

فإِنَّ ابن عمِّ المصطفى ذو شفاعةٍ

إذا غلغلت في الدهر صدمةُ اكدار

إذا غلغلت في الدهر صدمةُ اكدار

For the Chosen One’s paternal cousin possesses intercession

Indeed the cousin of the Chosen One has intercession

when the blow of sorrows penetrates deeply into time.

When the tumults of time bring distress

له الخارقاتُ البيضُ والمددُ الذي

له الخارقاتُ البيضُ والمددُ الذي

إلى أبدِ الآبادِ عيلمهُ جاري

إلى أبدِ الآبادِ عيلمهُ جاري

His are the white miracles and the succor whose

For him are the miracles and aid

vast sea flows for ever and ever.

Flowing for eternity without end
