وإن عارَضَتْكَ الجِنُّ يا خِلُّ والإنْسُ
If you are at the Prophet's gate, do not fear,
If you are in the door of the Prophet, have no fear,
Even if the jinn and humankind oppose you, O friend.
Though Jinn and men accost you, O friend human and Jinn.

And if your heart is gladdened by love for him,
And if you are elated in spirit with loving him,
Then, in every affair, your time is filled with solace through him.
Your time with him in all affairs is intimacy.

Draw close to people who profess love for him,
Draw near to a people who profess his love,
And keep away from people whom a touch of possession has deranged.
And distance yourself from folk tossed about in error.
فإنَّfor indeed مُحِبَّthe lover of الحَقِّthe truth يأويseeks refuge لأهلِهِwith its people

For the lover of truth seeks refuge among its people,
For the lover of Truth takes refuge with his own,
Without doubt—and kind recognizes its own kind.
Without any doubt, and kind knows its own kind.
