نعم الصباح أتى بذكر محمدٍ

نعم الصباح أتى بذكر محمدٍ

فزها وشق إلى السرور صباحا

فزها وشق إلى السرور صباحا

How fine the morning that came with remembrance of Muhammad!

What a beautiful morning that recalls Muhammad

So it shone and opened a dawn toward joy.

It blossomed and cleaved through to joy this morn’

قد عين الألوان طالعه وقد

قد عين الألوان طالعه وقد

أيا بذكر المصطفى الأرواحا

أيا بذكر المصطفى الأرواحا

Its rising has made the colors distinct, and has

Its rising eye has adorned the colors

[Revived] the souls through remembrance of the Chosen One.

And by the recollection of Al-Mustafa revived souls

وكما إلى الأبصار أشرق ضوءه

وكما إلى الأبصار أشرق ضوءه

فبسمك أسرار البصائر لاحا

فبسمك أسرار البصائر لاحا

And just as its light shone upon the eyes,

And as the light of his being shone into sights

So through your name the secrets of inner sight shone forth.

Through your name the secrets of insights shone
