Good fortune fluttered, despite every envious soul,

Glory fluttered despite every envier

above our heads, spreading happy fortunes.

Above our pinnacles spreading Al Saud

وجلتنا يد العناية في الكو

وجلتنا يد العناية في الكو

ن شموساً لماعةً للوجود

ن شموساً لماعةً للوجود

And the hand of providence revealed us in the universe

The hand of Providence made us sublime in existence

as suns radiant for all existence.

Suns illuminating, for all existence

فبرزنا نجلى بشأنٍ جليلٍ

فبرزنا نجلى بشأنٍ جليلٍ

آخذٍ في السمو حد الصعود

آخذٍ في السمو حد الصعود

So we emerged, revealed in a majestic standing,

So we emerged, shining with a majestic stature

rising in loftiness to the limit of ascent.

Ascending in loftiness, nearing the zenith

عن عليٍّ طوراً ورثنا المعالي

عن عليٍّ طوراً ورثنا المعالي

وهشمنا بالمجد أنف الجمود

وهشمنا بالمجد أنف الجمود

From Ali, at one time, we inherited lofty honors,

From the Most High we inherited eminence

and through glory we shattered stagnation's nose.

And with glory we crushed the nose of rigidity

نسقتنا بالنظم فاطمة الزه

نسقتنا بالنظم فاطمة الزه

راء نسقاً يزرى بنظم العقود

راء نسقاً يزرى بنظم العقود

Fatimah al-Zahra strung us together,

Fatimah Al-Zahra arranged us in order

in an order that shames the stringing of necklaces.

In a sequence adorned with strung jewels

نحن أهل الوحا أكابر جيش ال

نحن أهل الوحا أكابر جيش ال

غيب أهل البرهان أهل الشهود

غيب أهل البرهان أهل الشهود

We are revelation's people, chiefs of the army of the

We are the people of revelation, the grandees of the army of the unseen

unseen, people of proof, people of witnessing.

The people of proof, the people of witnesses

نحن في ساحة النبوة أفلا

نحن في ساحة النبوة أفلا

ذ تدلي مقامها المحمود

ذ تدلي مقامها المحمود

We, in the court of prophethood, are offshoots

In the field of prophethood we are

of the descent of its praised station.

Its sublime station points the way

نحن قادات خلص القوم طرّاً

نحن قادات خلص القوم طرّاً

وأدلاؤهم على المعبود

وأدلاؤهم على المعبود

We are leaders of the people's elect, one and all,

We are the sincere leaders of the people by birth

and their guides to the Worshipped One.

And their guides to the Worshipped

نحن بيت النبي منا وعنا

نحن بيت النبي منا وعنا

علم مجلى العلى وأخذ العهود

علم مجلى العلى وأخذ العهود

We are the Prophet's household; from us and through us come

We are the house of the Prophet, from us and through us

knowledge of sublimity's manifestation and the taking of covenants.

Knowledge of the Most High was taken and pacts made

نحن نعطي حيناً ونمنع باللَ

نحن نعطي حيناً ونمنع باللَ

ه وندني عزماً إلى المقصود

ه وندني عزماً إلى المقصود

We give at times and withhold through God,

We give at times and forbid in the name of God

and resolutely bring others near the intended goal.

And we bring our determination near to the goal

نحن غبنا في اللَه عن كل شيءٍ

نحن غبنا في اللَه عن كل شيءٍ

وطوينا الموجود بالمفقود

وطوينا الموجود بالمفقود

We were absorbed in God, oblivious to everything,

We were content in God over all things

and folded up what exists through what is absent.

And folded existence with the nonexistent

نحن سرنا أئمة فوصلنا

نحن سرنا أئمة فوصلنا

ووقفنا في السير عند الحدد

ووقفنا في السير عند الحدد

We journeyed as imams and so arrived,

We were guides so we connected

and stopped along the way at the bounds.

And we stopped in our path at the limits

نحن نلوي السيوف لم تبد قطعاً

نترك النار غير ذات الوقود

نترك النار غير ذات الوقود

We bend the swords; they do not cut.

We have never unsheathed swords except for severing

We leave the fire devoid of fuel.

We do not light a fire without fuel

نحن نطوي بوارز الخصم طيّاً

نحن نطوي بوارز الخصم طيّاً

ونفيد التقريب للمعبود

ونفيد التقريب للمعبود

We utterly fold up the foe's champions,

We fold the contender’s exaggerations

and grant nearness to the Worshipped One.

And bring close the path to the Worshipped

نحن في مهمه الحقيقة فرسا

ن صدورٍ مطلسمٍ في ورود

ن صدورٍ مطلسمٍ في ورود

In the trackless wilderness of Truth, we are knights

In the ordeal of truth we are thoroughbred steeds

of a talismanic departure within arrival.

With armored chests amid roses

نحن من أمنا بصدق انقيادٍ

نحن من أمنا بصدق انقيادٍ

وودادٍ ما صار بالمردود

وودادٍ ما صار بالمردود

As for us, whoever seeks us with sincere submission

We believed our mother with sincere obedience

and love has not been turned away.

And affection never to be returned

نحن آيات ربنا في البرايا

نحن آيات ربنا في البرايا

رغم من خب في ثقيل القيود

رغم من خب في ثقيل القيود

We are our Lord's signs among creatures,

We are signs of our Lord in the wilds

despite whoever trots in heavy fetters.

Despite whoever is fettered in heavy shackles

نحن للعون والعناية والصو

نحن للعون والعناية والصو

ن وللبر والهدى الممدود

ن وللبر والهدى الممدود

We are for aid, providential care, and protection,

We are for help, providence, and preservation

and for goodness and far-reaching guidance.

For righteousness, guidance, and outstretched hand

نحن نور النبي في الكون نجلى

نحن نور النبي في الكون نجلى

كل آنٍ في الطالع المسعود

كل آنٍ في الطالع المسعود

We are the Prophet's light, revealed in the universe

We are the Prophet’s light in the universe manifest

at every moment under an auspicious ascendant.

Every instant in the ascending auspiciousness
